We can supply your new home too

Moving home can be a very stressful time for you and your family so the last thing you need to worry about is your energy. With White Rose Energy it’s easy to move your gas and electricity supply to your new home.

Here are the five simple steps to follow:

Tell us when you’re moving

Call us on 0800 022 3553

Please let us know when you intend to move out and provide the address for the property you are moving to. At this point we can then talk you through how to make White Rose Energy the supplier for your new home if this is something you’d like to explore.

On the day you move out, give us your final meter reading

Send through your final meter reading on the day you move out so we can send you an accurate bill. That means we won’t have to estimate your final payment to us.

Receive your closing bill

We will send you a closing bill once we receive your final meter reading for your previous address. Please pay this as normal.

When you’ve moved in

Send us your first meter reading

If you want to stay with White Rose Energy but your new home is supplied by someone else, we can help you find out which supplier it is and assist you to switch back to us if this is of interest to you. Whoever you choose as your energy provider, please make sure that you take readings on the day you move in so you don’t end up paying for someone else’s energy.

We'll give you your switchover date

If you do decide to switch the supplies for your new home to us, we’ll confirm the date when we will become the energy supplier for the property. We'll send you your first bill about a month after your supply start date. Remember that for the period before you switch to us, you will be using energy with the existing supplier. They will send you a separate bill to cover this.
